The bed is finished in the "Glacier Country" collection style for a truly unique, one-of-a-kind look reminiscent of the Grand Lodges of the Rockies. First we remove the outer bark while leaving the inner, cambium layer intact for texture and contrast. Then the finish is completed in an eight step, professional spraying process that applies stain and lacquer for a beautiful and long lasting finish. This bed will draw comments and praise from all who see it. Mattresses not included. Mortise and tenon joinery throughout. The trundle can accommodate a mattress (not included) that is 7 inches or less in height and still fit under the daybed for storage. The trundle, when closed and without a mattress is approximately 5" high. There is approximately 12 inches of space underneath the daybed.
