Elevate your home organization with the International Concepts Solid Wood 5-Tier Leaning Ladder Shelf, a perfect blend of architectural design and practical utility. Meticulously crafted from 100% solid Parawood (a dense, eco-friendly hardwood often called Rubberwood), this shelf offers the structural integrity of high-end furniture without the visual bulk. Its open-back, leaning silhouette draws the eye upward, making it an ideal choice for smaller rooms, apartments, or narrow hallways where floor space is at a premium. Unlike standard flat bookcases, this unit features a smart graduated shelf design, starting with a shallow 4.9-inch top tier for delicate decor and expanding to a deep 13.5-inch bottom base for heavier storage. Finished with raised gallery rails to keep your valuables secure, this piece transforms any empty wall into a sophisticated display of your personal style.

In 1982, International Concepts (then Whitewood Industries) was founded in Greensboro, NC. They started as a distributor of ready-to-finish furniture. Their furnishings are made of solid wood. Well-crafted unfinished furniture was and is still in high demand. Homeowners can paint or stain these products to coordinate with what they already have. International Concepts later added a line of finished juvenile furniture. From a 9000 square feet warehouse in Jamestown, NC, they moved to a 24000 square feet facility in High Point, NC, in 1987 as the company and business grew.
