This quilt IS a quilt by the process of making it. It features cotton cords that are woven betweeen two gauze like layers. They are revealed at the ends creating a self fringe. a subtle pic stitch in the weaving process creates stability for this crafted approach as well as a gentle texture. The shams (available seperately) are of the same weaving technique as the quilt. They reveal an asymetrical portion of the self fringe as well. They have a split back for ease of fill and feature a solid coordinating cotton back. Both the quilt and the shams are stone washed for a lightly worn crafted look. The shams are knife edged.
