The Design House 190843 passage knob does not lock and is used in bedrooms, hallways and other rooms where privacy is not important. Features two, non locking knobs, one on each side of the door. Finished in oil rubbed bronze and designed for left or right hand doors, this knob fits the two most common backsets in the U.S. (2.75" and 2.375"). Use this knob on standard 1.375" and 1.75" thick doors with a cross bore 2 1/8 in dia or edge bore 1 1/16 in dia. (1 in. x 2 1/4 in. radius corner faceplate). The Passage Knob is ideal for install on closet, hallway and bedroom doors and not intended for locking purposes.
