Brand Logo

Catskill Craftsmen was founded in 1948 in Stamford, New York. With many years in the industry, Catskill Craftsmen became one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of kitchen products and work centers. The company is privately held.

Catskill Craftsmen Kitchen Cart

Of all the items they produce, the Catskill Craftsmen kitchen carts and Catskill Craftsmen kitchen islands are the company’s best known products. All their products are made from American hardwood, mostly birch and hard rock maple. The kitchen carts and islands are RTA (ready to assemble). Other popular products include the Catskill Craftsmen cutting board and butcher block.

A Green Company

Catskill Craftsmen is environmentally conscious and changed their business to reflect this mindset. In 1994, the company built a wood pellet mill on site that would process all the waste wood (sawdust, shavings and other waste materials generated during the manufacturing process) into wood pellet fuel to be used in pellet stoves. They have a “generate no wood waste” philosophy. The hardwoods that the company uses are self-sustaining and non-endangered.
